How Lumi credits work
Credits count drafts, not products. Count every field and image you plan to draft, and you'll know what a batch costs before you start it.
Credit costs at a glance
A product description draft uses two credits. An image alt text, SEO title, or meta description draft uses one. Regenerating a draft uses credits again. Restoring a published change uses none.

When credits are used and returned
The rules that decide what a batch actually costs.
Failed or cancelled items
If some items in a batch fail or you cancel a run, finished drafts stay and credits for the unfinished items go back to your balance. Retrying a failed item uses new credits.
One-Time Cleanup on Free
On Free, new batches you start use your Cleanup credits first until they run out or expire. Your free monthly credits continue in the background.
One-Time Cleanup on Maintain
On Maintain, Cleanup is a top-up. A batch uses monthly credits when they cover it and it fits the 50-product batch limit; otherwise Cleanup credits fund the whole batch. A single batch never mixes the two.
Automation
Maintain automation always uses monthly credits. You can set a monthly automation credit limit in Settings so automation can't use your whole allowance.
Estimating a batch
20 products with one description, an SEO title, and a meta description each, plus alt text for 60 images.
Descriptions
20 × 2 credits = 40 credits.
SEO fields
20 SEO titles + 20 meta descriptions × 1 credit = 40 credits.
Alt text
60 images × 1 credit = 60 credits. Total: 140 credits, before any regeneration.

Do unused credits roll over?
No. Free and Maintain monthly credits reset each month. One-Time Cleanup credits last 90 days from purchase.
Where can I see my balance?
Settings shows credit usage for your current period.
Can I buy more credits without changing plans?
Yes. Any plan can buy One-Time Cleanup for 2,000 more credits. On a paid plan it adds credits without changing your plan.
