Why Lumi exists
Product catalogs rarely become inconsistent all at once. A new image arrives without alt text, an older product has no description, or search fields are left blank during a busy launch. The work is repetitive, but the result still needs human judgment. Lumi was built to make those gaps visible and turn them into a reviewable queue.
Who is behind Lumi
Configurate operates the Lumi app, website, and public catalog tools. You can reach us through Lumi support for product questions, account help, and data requests.
Product principles
- Review before publish
- Content batches you start always create drafts for review. Maintain can generate selected new-product content and missing image alt text after product updates. Enabled Maintain automation can publish automatically. Turn it on only for content you want published without prior review.
- Shopify remains the source of truth
- Approved updates live in supported Shopify fields. Published content remains there after uninstall. Read what uninstall changes.
- Merchant control
- Choose what to work on and leave drafts unpublished when they do not fit. Publishing and restoration have clear boundaries.
- Honest automation
- Good content starts with accurate product facts and human review. No tool can promise search rankings, AI recommendations, accessibility certification, or legal outcomes.
